inserts. Print is the correct medium to use if your business wants
to offer cents and dollars off. Freestanding inserts in the newspaper
or direct mail into the home is the best way to distribute coupons
offering cents off or a special price on a product. Tracking the
response of the coupon is time-consuming, but possible because
the customer must redeem the coupon on site in order to realize
the savings. Teens and young adults respond very well to coupons.
The older target still believes: if it appears in black and white,
it must be true. If you have a product that has legal disclaimers
or needs detailed explanations, the newspaper ranks high as the
primary medium.
